Good Neighbor considers the role of the fence in the West. By distilling visual symbols down to the most essential, I explore the following questions:

What does the fence symbolize?
What does a fence do physically and emotionally ?
How does fence impact the relationships of the people have to each other and to their surrounding landscape?

This work was created during a one-month residency at Jentel in Banner, WY.
