Good Neighbor considers the role of the fence in the West.

What does the fence symbolize? What does the fence do? Who uses fences? Where are fences and why are placed in those locations? How does fence impact the relationships of the people within a specific landscape?

For this installation, I wanted to experiment with distilling the installation elements down to only the most essential.

This work was created during a one-month residency at Jentel in Banner, WY.
